Shui Razor
cashes in his winning ticket at Ladbet International. Suki Hall is at the
presentation ceremony with an official from the company, for this PR shot.
The whole world cheer the Japanese rescuer for his bravery, having lost two
ships to Kulo-Luna. He still dived into dangerous netting to save Kuna, the
baby humpback whale. He jokes that he hopes Kulo-Luna will not sink any more
of his vessels. And he has a new respect for humpback whales. John Storm is
both amazed and pleased to learn Shui had been betting on Kulo-Luna to win.
In
this fictional original John Storm adventure story, LadBet International
is a worldwide gambling organization that specializes in taking and
offsetting unusual
bets, of any amount on just about any sporting or other event that is
taking place.
In
this case, Shui Razor places a bet, of quite a lump sum for a fisherman of
limited means. His bet is quite unusual in that he specifies that the
humpback whale known as Kulo-Luna, will sink another whaling boat within
less than three to six months.
This
is a wager that LadBet is pleased to accept, allowing an extra three months
- and when Shui wins that bet,
LadBet are more than pleased to pay the Japanese fisherman out on his
winning ticket. Congratulating
him, and presenting him with a giant cheque.
For
that is their stock in trade.
